Support for the Vie pour Tous Foundation in Benin
Vie pour Tous Foundation in Benin
In 2024, MOST supported the Vie Pour Tous Foundation in installing a small solar power station (solar panels and electrical system) for the “Ma famille de Sirarou” center, a shelter for young women located in a rural area of the Borgou department.
Chaired by Father Théodore Soume, the Vie Pour Tous Foundation, a Beninese organization, aims to support, among other things, the education and training of young women in vulnerable situations to promote their social integration, in collaboration with local communities.
Opened in 2008, the Ma famille de Sirarou center has welcomed and trained more than 80 young women in trades such as sewing and hairdressing. Support from the MOST Association has enabled the center to move from darkness to light, thereby ensuring vocational training and the safety of the residents.
Currently, 128 people benefit directly from this facility, as the primary and secondary schools adjacent to the shelter also benefit from it.
In total, more than 600 people (students, families, teachers, and administrative staff) benefit from it.
Total cost: 4,794 CHF
New Classroom
Following the project carried out with the Vie pour Tous Foundation in 2024, MOST is continuing its collaboration to strengthen vocational training for young people in Benin.
In 2025, MOST is supporting the construction of two additional classrooms to accommodate students from rural communities in the municipality of Banikoara, located in northern Benin, a sensitive border area with Burkina Faso.
This will enable 40 students each year to pursue advanced technical and vocational training in the field of electricity. The overall objective of the project is to provide a catalyst for community development and a trade for local youth eager to receive training.
Total budget: 30,000 Euros
MOST contribution: 20,000 Euros
The contribution from the community and the Vie pour Tous Foundation amounts to 10,000 Euros (provision of land, labor, transportation of materials, site maintenance, etc.).

Father Théodore Soumé sent us the latest photos of the two completed classrooms, as well as the MOST logo and name inscribed on the classroom walls.
