Daikundi Preschool in Afghanistan in collaboration with Nai Qala Association

The new school term, following the end of winter, began in May and is currently underway. More than 400 children are benefiting from innovative, high-quality education in 20 villages in the Nili region, the provincial capital of Daikundi.

MOST has enabled the purchase for each class of :

  • Teaching materials for learning to count and write.
  • Stationery for writing and craft activities
  • Games and toys: building blocks, pegs, cars, tea sets, ‘doctor’s kits’, skipping ropes.
  • Hygiene supplies: 400 toothbrushes, soap, tubes of toothpaste, nail clippers, hairbrushes, mirrors, water jerrycans, first-aid kits, toilet paper, and Covid-19 equipment (masks and hand sanitiser).
  • Furniture: carpets, cupboards, shelves, whiteboards, etc.
